Marco DiPaolo has 15 years of experience in the real estate services industry. Over the last several years, Marco has specialized in the representation of tenants and users of real estate with an emphasis on strategic real estate planning based on the corporate objectives of his clients. His primary areas of focus have been the Downtown, Broadway and Burnaby markets of Vancouver. In addition, Marco assists clients across Canada and in other markets around the world.
During his first several years at Colliers, Marco’s focus was based on the representation of owners and landlords. During this time Marco attained an intimate understanding of the three main types of ownership structures in Vancouver - institutional, private and local. Each of the three ownership types apply a different decision process that requires a separate negotiating strategy in order to achieve a successful outcome.
 
Following the years of landlord and owner representation, Marco identified a need for better service and representation solely for tenants and users of real estate. As a result, Marco worked with Colliers International’s senior management to create a number of innovative new services specifically designed for tenants and users of real estate now referred to as ‘Corporate Representation Services’. Due to the success and positive feedback of these services and platforms, many are now standardized and implemented in Colliers offices worldwide and included in high-level training for Colliers employees.
