For nearly fifteen years, Kevin Barry has been associated with commercial real estate brokerage. He has become one of the leading brokers within the metropolitan Milwaukee community and has branched out to serve clients on both a regional and national basis.
In representing owners, buyers, tenants and developers to accomplish their primary goals, Kevin is considered an expert in the brokerage of investment, industrial, office and land transactions. He has sold and leased millions of square feet of property and has played an integral part in acquistions, dispositions, asset management, analysis, appraisal, feasibility and equity investment decisions for his clients. Kevin has also been responsible for supervising the compiling, updating and revising of information on the status of all southeastern Wisconsin industrial business and office parks for Colliers Barry's in-house database.
Education
Kevin graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a concentration in business and philosophy.
Achievements
Kevin is one of a few select brokers to be awarded the coveted CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Membership) designation. The designation, which requires necessary professional experience and numerous accomplishments in the commercial real estate field, involves over 240 hours of graduate-level curriculum and is awarded to only one percent of brokers practicing in the industry. He has been quoted as a source and featured in many well-known publications and periodicals including National Real Estate Investor, CIREI, Midwest Real Estate News, Milwaukee Business Journal, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and the Milwaukee Small Business Times. In addition, Kevin has served on several commercial real estate committees and boards and is a member of the Commercial Institute of Real Estate Investment, the Wisconsin Commercial Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
In his extensive experience, several of the clients and organizations Kevin has recently conducted successful transactions with include: Johnson Controls, Morgan Stanley, Dayton Hudson Corporation (Target Stores), International Flavors & Fragrances, Firefighters Association of America, March of Dimes Association, US Filter Corporation, CenterPoint Properties, First Industrial Real Estate Trust and many others.
