Mr. Piane has 30 years of commercial real estate experience. His professional experience has primarily been as an advisory and investment manager for institutional and pension clients in 13 western states including Hawaii. His portfolio at Morgan Stanley, Lend Lease, and Equitable Real Estate included 28 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail investments plus 3,142 multi-family units valued at $4.5 billion.
Mr. Piane has been involved with significant real estate projects in Hawaii. These include the Ala Moana Shopping Center, 1132 Bishop Street, Bishop Square, Davies Pacific Center, and Pan Am Building, Pearl Highlands Center. His responsibilities have included shopping center expansion planning, and anchor addition, negotiation of approvals, implementation and supervision of the disposition process, acquisition underwriting, asbestos abatement, development and implementation of asset strategies to enhance returns, resolution of property issues, client and investor communication including ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness of investor reporting.
