Ikuyo Kato (S) is a native of Japan, who comes to us with an extensive background in operations management, sales and marketing, budget development and personnel related functions.
She has honed her sales/marketing and service skills in her previous capacities, while developing width and depth of satisfied clients, both locally and internationally. She attributes her successes to her strong work ethic, ability to follow through, and having a knack for creative ideas. Her excellent bi-lingual capacity in English and Japanese also has been a proven ingredient in her past successes. She has traveled extensively, and lived or stayed in such diverse places as England, Australia, Malaysia, part of West Africa -Ghana and Ivory Coast.
She has been active in community involvement that also contributed in creating new businesses. Through her public relation and community involvement, she has cultivated good relationships with civic leaders, business executives, and elected official as well. Her latest involvement in civic affairs includes committee member for “Black Tie & Blue Jeans 2006” for the American Heart Association.
She is well versed in retail/restaurant/hotel fields through her extensive dealings in leaders of those industries, and will be able to connect space/property owners and lessee/purchasers, especially where the transaction involves international client.
While she will be working with variety of local and overseas clients, Japanese clients will be especially well served by Ms. Kato’s language skills, and her ability to interpret and navigate through the difference between the two cultures.
