For the last 26 years, Fred Sheats has helped his clients solve real estate problems or take advantage of real estate opportunities allowing them to more quickly achieve a larger business goal. He takes a consultative approach for each assignment creating recurring real estate advantages for national, regional, and local companies as their exclusive agent. In most cases, his work focuses on reducing operating expenses; however, his work has also improved operating efficiencies and upgraded his clients’ image. He has advised clients throughout Atlanta, as well as in twenty states, Canada, the UK, Hong Kong, and Australia.

Mr. Sheats grew up in Atlanta, and received business degrees from University of Georgia (Finance) and Georgia State University (Accounting). Prior to entering the real estate business in August, 1986, he gained extensive business experience in corporate finance, banking, public accounting, and consulting while working for KPMG Peat Marwick with a concentration on financial institutions. He is currently a Senior Vice President having been made a Principal of the Atlanta Office in 1995. Mr. Sheats served as a Board Member from 2000 to 2002.

Having leased and brokered over 3,000,000 square feet of office space, Mr. Sheats has concluded several noteworthy real estate transactions including representing AT&T, Macy’s, Wachovia Securities and The Home Depot. Mr. Sheats’ additional professional accomplishments include:

Fred has served for the last ten years on the Executive Committee and as a Board Member for the Midtown Assistance Center (MAC). MAC provides emergency assistance to the working poor in Midtown and Downtown Atlanta allowing them to remain in their homes. He has co-chaired MAC’s Every Cent Counts Campaign which each year raises over $35,000. He is active in his church, Holy Spirit, as an usher and in other volunteer capacities.
