Derek joined Colliers International in 1999 as an assistant for two of the company's senior office leasing agents. In the fall of 2000, Derek entered the commercial real estate brokerage community. He collaborates with many different teams and individuals in the Vancouver office.

Over the past 12 years, Derek has gained the knowledge and skills to handle any office space requirement in Vancouver's office market. As a Landlord or Tenant representative, Derek has worked with corporate businesses, professional partnerships, e-com businesses, not-profit organizations, and schools. He works diligently to understand his clients’ expectations and needs working effectively and efficiently to exceed their expectations.

Derek is a highly motivated, optimistic and outgoing individual with a concentrated focus on job performance and client satisfaction. He believes that his local real estate knowledge, communication skills, accountability, and determination to put tough deals together are his best assets in helping his clients achieve their real estate goals.

Derek is an active member with the Downtown Vancouver Business Association. He is an avid sports fan and participates in many sports, but his passion is playing hockey and watching his beloved Vancouver Canucks.
