Colliers International recruited David in the spring of 1999 from a successful career in the sporting goods industry to join the investment services group. Since joining Colliers, David has consistently been a top producer for Colliers, averaging over $45 million in transactions annually. David is one of 40 brokers in the Colliers network to be included in the national Colliers Investment Services Group (CISG). David’s transaction experience ranges from the sale of shopping centers, apartment buildings, and offi ce buildings to development analysis for urban redevelopment projects. David has also completed several land exchanges for the state of Idaho.Recently, David was involved with the sale of four acres of downtown ground, including several historic warehouses, for urban redevelopment. David remained on the development team after the sale and was instrumental in transforming thedecaying downtown warehouse district into the sixty million dollar mixed-use retail / office / hospitality project known as BoDo. The BoDo project consists of retail tenants making their first presence in Idaho, including P.F. Chang’s, Ann Taylor Loft, White House Black Market, and Urban Outfitters, in addition to Regal Theaters and Hampton Inn Hotels.David is also very active in the Downtown Boise Association (DBA) as a member of its Board of Directors. The DBA works with all downtown stakeholders to improved the business, retail, and entertainment environment in the downtown. David sits on several advisory committees within the city’s building department. David’s success can be attributed to his ability to think outside the box when confronted with challenging valuation issues, and in creating synergy between local property owners, government agencies, and out-of-market buyers, developers, and tenants.
