Cynthia Shelton, CCIM, CRE a Director at Colliers Arnold, has over 33 years experience in the real estate industry and holds both the CCIM and CRE designations. Cynthia is responsible for investment sales, primarily retail and office throughout Florida, providing acquisition and disposition services to private and institutional clients.
Cynthia specializes in the sale of grocery-anchored shopping centers, net-leased retail, redevelopment properties and office properties. Cynthia almost exclusively represents sellers; some of her recent clients include Equity One, GE, National Retail Properties, USAA, Goodyear, and several regional developers.
Cynthia is a senior broker on the Milano-Shelton Team and has sold numerous retail properties throughout Florida with a strong history of repeat client business. During the past few years as a broker with Colliers Arnold, Cynthia has contributed to the closing of over 20 investment sale transactions totaling over $60 million dollars in value.
Prior to joining the Colliers Arnold team, Cynthia worked as V.P. of Acquisitions for Net Leased Properties (REIT) for 10 years and was responsible for acquisitions of over $300 million dollars in single tenant properties. This experience gives her a solid insight into the buying process. Cynthia’s proactive marketing program, in-depth knowledge of the market and extensive registry of retail investment buyers helps in representing sellers in achieving maximum price for the properties. Cynthia also stays current on capital market trends, thus allowing her to assist sellers and buyer with securing debt. Her diverse background and national contacts of institutional clients adds to her success.
