Colliers conducted a site selection and acquisition for wireless telecomunication and roof-top network sites.
Challenge:
Devise and execute a site acquisition and inter-carrier co-location strategy wireless network strategy for the cites of Calgary, Edmonton and the connecting Hwy. 2 corridor.
Services:
Assisted RF Engineering in designing and modifying search ring areas based on geographic (topographic, land availability - mapping and surveying) and network (capacity and subscriber population - mapping and forecasting) parameters. Further managed a team of consultants in the siting and acquisition of land, tower and roof-top sites through the negotiation and execution of Lease/License & MOU agreements for the deployment of wireless network equipment. Secured all development and building permits for construction and installation.

Sited and acquired critical tower, roof-top and co-location wireless communications sites to implement the accelerated build-out of the Client's urban Alberta wireless communications network and the transportation corridor between. Completed the acquisition project on-budget and on-time for a successful network launch.
