Challenge:
Assess business climate of three existing office locations and determine ideal location for head office consolidation in a U.S. or Canadian financial center.

Services:
Colliers assisted the client in determining a list of an initial 26 North American financial centers from which to begin a short-listing process.  A consolidation strategy and analysis planning were then undertaken along with an in-depth cost of doing business analysis.  Finally, real estate site selection was pinpointed and tax incentive package research negotiation was completed.

Results:
Colliers' team made a successful finalist location recommendation to the client's board of directors for review and approval.  An incentive package valued at approximately $1.5 million (US$) was achieved, and a long-term lease agreement was negotiated.
