Carolyn J. Sidor has been named Executive Vice President, U.S. Operations of Colliers International.  Walter D. Pinkard, Jr., chairman of Colliers USA, made the announcement today in Boston.

“We are thrilled to announce Carolyn’s appointment as Executive Vice President and leader of our U.S.A. headquarters operation in Boston. Her client focus, operations and marketing expertise will allow Colliers to truly enhance the value we bring to our U.S. organization,” said Mr. Pinkard.  “She is a welcome addition to the Colliers headquarters’ team and will begin her tenure with us on September 8, 2008.”

Ms. Sidor draws upon over twenty years of experience with the real estate industry.  Prior to joining Colliers International, she was a partner at CB Richard Ellis/New England where she served as Managing Director of Business Development.  Previously, she served as Managing Director of Marketing & Client Services for Insignia/ESG.  Prior to that, she was Chief Operating Officer of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB), a 6,000-member trade association representing all segments of the industry.  Earlier in her 16-year career with GBREB, she was the Executive Director of the Building Owners and Managers Association and the Commercial Brokers Association.

In terms of her volunteer leadership roles, she has served on the board of directors for the New England Society of Association Executives, and was chairman of the BOMA International Association Executives Council.  A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, she also completed graduate courses at the Boston College Graduate School of Management.
