Kalani Maika joined the Colliers Monroe Friedlander team in April of 2006. Currently, Mr. Maika manages three properties for Central Pacific Bank, most notably the Central Pacific Plaza a 233,000 square foot Class A office building in downtown Honolulu. Mr. Maika formerly managed a portfolio of office and industrial properties which includes the D. Otani Produce Building, a newly built industrial complex, and 1060 Young Street, a primarily medical office building formerly known as the McDonald’s Building. He has also managed office properties for institutional owner American Savings Bank. Mr. Maika’s responsibilities in property management include the administration of leases, tenant retention, and long-range planning, as well as day-to-day operations of industrial and office properties. Prior to joining the firm and during his tenure at Armstrong Properties, he assisted with the management of residential properties on Oahu.
Mr. Maika is a professionally licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Hawaii. He graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
In his spare time, Mr. Maika enjoys watching sports and body boarding.
