Mr. Ward began his career with the Comptroller of the Currency as a National Bank Examiner. After serving one year in that capacity, he worked at McKinsey & Company, Inc. in Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA from 1984 through 1986, assisting banks, engineering firms and other industries to identify new markets, perform acquisition studies, and refocus corporate resources to increase return on investments. He has extensive experience applying the economic value model to key management decision making.
In 1987, Mr. Ward made a successful transition into Real Estate Consulting by utilizing his previous consulting and banking experience.
Primary activities during his real estate career have focused on corporate services/tenant representation and include strategy development, market research/identification, proposal solicitation, financial evaluation and modeling, deal negotiation, construction management supervision, and operating expense audits. Having completed transactions which total in excess of 3,000,000 square feet of space, including a number of multi-city assignments in New York, Boston, Washington DC, Austin, Buenos Aires, Paris, and Madrid, Mr. Ward has concluded several noteworthy leasing and sales transactions.
