Following nineteen years with the Power Systems Sector of General Electric Company in various sales and sales management positions, Mr. Buist joined Portman-Barry, Inc. as a commercial realtor in 1987 and Colliers Spectrum Cauble in 1992, becoming Partner in 1996.

Achievements
Mr. Buist's success in the marketplace has been recognized by achieving the multi-million dollar level for the last seventeen years in the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club and by exceeding the ten million dollar level in 1994, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2005. Mr. Buist is a member in the Society for Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Mr. Buist is active in several community outreach organizations including the Midtown Alliance mentoring program for Inman Middle School and the AMIS program for visiting international college students. Mr. Buist is on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and The Study Hall.
